Another choice to consider is WiiWare. With WiiWare, you can download games directly through your Wii, assuming of course that it’s connected to the internet. WiiWare games usually sell for less than $20. World Of Goo, which was released in the October of 2008 costs $15, and has made it to dozens of best game of 2008 lists.

Some other good Wii games that usually sell for $20 or less are: Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure, Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, Geometry Wars: Galaxies, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Elebits, Sega Superstars Tennis, Nights: Journey of Dreams, Excite Truck, Blast and Works: Build-Trade-Destroy.

Don’t forget, that you can also play Nintento Game Cube games on your Wii. A few good ones to check out here are: Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, F-Zero GX, and The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.
